About Jackson Buchman
Jackson Buchman is a freelance writer and photographer. He resides in the mountains of Virginia with his wife of 21 years. Jackson holds a Master’s Degree in Human Services: Crisis & Trauma Counseling. He has also been involved in research and curriculum development to benefit people in low socioeconomic status, to include people experiencing chronic homelessness and mental health challenges.
Jackson has been a guest contributor for Blue Ridge Outdoor Magazine, blogs for outdoor living sites, and has written and reported for area newspapers. He is an outdoor enthusiast who writes and photographs outdoor activities that revolve around fishing, hunting, camping, hiking and boating. Jackson also covers stories related to the human condition, spirituality and interests related to the human services field.
